- Walmart’s subscription service, Walmart+, allows shoppers to save on fuel prices and delivery fees.
- Subscribers can potentially save up to $84 each year on fuel and $816 annually on grocery delivery.
- A Walmart+ subscription is especially valuable to those who live near Walmart stores and applicable gas stations.
How to get the most value out of a Walmart+ subscription:
Free shipping — no order minimum required
Thousands of products are available to ship for free to Walmart+ subscribers, waiving the typical $35 order minimum that they may otherwise be subject to. The perk is applicable for next-day and two-day shipping, so there’s no need to pay an extra fee for last-minute shopping.
This perk is particularly useful for saving shipping costs on products that are just under the $35 minimum. This is especially true for products that are ordinarily over $35, but no longer meet the shipping minimum while on sale. A Walmart+ subscription will allow shoppers to take advantage of these sale prices while maintaining free shipping.
Same-day and two-hour express delivery
Same-day delivery and in-store pickup are available to Walmart+ shoppers in applicable regions. In early March, Walmart waived the $35 minimum for two-hour express delivery, instead charging a $10 fee to all Walmart shoppers. Walmart+ members will only pay the $10 Express Delivery fee, while non-members must pay an additional delivery fee of $7-$9 per order. Check if free unlimited delivery is available in your region here.
Mobile Scan and Go
Subscribers can also save time as they shop by scanning items and checking out on their mobile app. Whether looking for a contact-free approach to checkout or simply aiming to save time by avoiding cashier lines, this perk is available at all participating Walmart stores.
