Global markets remained subdued ahead of the Fed’s announcement on interest rates, due on Wednesday. Meanwhile the Swedish Central Bank hiked rates by 100 basis points. Markets are awaiting the Bank of England’s interest rate decision on Thursday.
Asian stocks finished with gains. European stocks are however trading in the red zone. Wall Street Futures are also trading in negative territory.
The Dollar Index remained firm. Bond yields mostly hardened. Crude oil prices continued to decline, as concerns over global demand mounted. Gold hovered near the flatline. Cryptocurrencies rebounded.
