Barclays customers have reported they’re unable to access their online banking this morning.
A number of customers have taken to twitter to reveal they can’t open their banking app.
At 9:14 the Barclays service page was updated to read: "We’re sorry if you’re having trouble logging in to our Mobile Banking app – we’re working to fix this."
Barclays has advised customers to restart their phones and check they are running the latest version of the app.
For some customers this proved effective, but not for everyone.
"It looks like the team are working on it but I’m afraid I don’t have any time-frames to provide," the Barclays help team tweeted.
A Barclays spokesperson told Mirror Money: "We’re aware that a small number of our customers are currently having trouble logging into the Barclays Mobile Banking app. We’re working to resolve this as quickly as possible."
Here are some things you can try if you’re being kept out too.
There might be a problem with your computer or connection, rather than Barclays online banking. So don’t give up straight away.
You can head here to ask a question about logging on to Barclays online banking at the Barclays help centre.
There’s also the status section of the Barclay’s website – that lets you know at a glance if there are problems the bank is aware of. You can also use it to see when things are resolves.
A quick way to check if it’s a bigger problem than just you is to head to the Barclays Help twitter page where they respond to customer’s questions.
If there’s a problem, you can bet they’ll be responding to customers. You could even ask questions yourself if you have a twitter account.
Try updating the app
If you can’t log on as normal, try Barclays online banking app – or even download it to your phone or tablet if you don’t already have it.
Make sure you have the latest version and if you still have problems try restarting your phone too.
Using the app gets round problems specific to the website, broadband or your computer.

Head to a branch or cash machine
If all you need is something simple like a balance check, any cash machine should be able to display it on screen.
If that’s not enough, and they’re still open, you can head to a branch.
