The independent Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards has revealed the Prime Minister is one of nine MPs currently being investigated.

Boris Johnson and his fiancee took a trip to the island of Mustique over the New Year in 2020, in a trip thought to have been paid for by a Conservative Party donor.

MPs are required to declare any financial interests for foreign visits in the register of members’ interests.

Kathryn Stone, the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards, announced she would be making public over who was being investigated in order to improve transparency.

She published the list of MPs currently being investigated this morning after holding back the information until after the local elections which took place last week.
