The Former Brexit Party leader said that P&O staff did “nothing wrong” and said that it was not their fault that the very company took “big losses” throughout the pandemic.
However, he took aim at “idiots” who said the decision was to do with Brexit.
Speaking to GB News, Mr Farage said: “Wrong, wrong, wrong! We voted Brexit in order to stop these kinds of things happening.
“We voted Brexit because we were tired of British workers in many sectors being undercut, and we thought with Brexit, we would get a change.”
